LESS CROWDED, LESS MONEY - OFF SEASON ADMISSION DISCOUNT BEGINS AT CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN ZOO

September 8, 2011, Colorado Springs, CO – More than 300,000 people visited Cheyenne Mountain Zoo between May and August this year, but the tourists have gone home and now is the perfect time for locals to take advantage of smaller crowds and off season admission discounts:
Adults: $14.25, Children (3 - 11): $10.25, Children (2 and under): free
Military Adults: $11.25, Military Children: $7.25
Seniors (65+): $12.25
Off season admission runs through April 30, 2012. During off season, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is open daily, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with last admission at 4:00pm.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is recognizing how much the many military families in our community sacrifice with an additional discount during Military Appreciation Week, Monday, September 12 – Sunday, September 18, 2011. All active duty/retired military members and their families are invited to spend time together at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for just $5.25 per person, a discount of up to $6.00 off regular military rates. Simply present valid military identification at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo admission booth. Military personnel also receive 10% off merchandise in the Thundergod Gift Shop.
