MeerkatCam

The meerkats are out in their yard when the sun is shining and the weather is above 40°F.

During the winter months, the meerkats at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo spend most of their time on the east side of their exhibit where they can sunbathe and play. After it snows, zookeepers clear a path of snow in the exhibit so that the meerkats can get outside as soon as the sun shines again. The camera is unable to pan over to their sunbathing area, but keep watching for a dedicated meerkat to brave the snow and stand sentry on the termite mound!

PLEASE NOTE: The meerkats are currently off exhibit due to Encounter Africa construction through May. We appologize for any inconvenience.
