Stroller Safaris.

Bring your 18-36 month old to the Zoo with their favorite adult for their First Adventures with Nature (F.A.W.N.).  It is never too early to introduce your toddler to the wonders of the natural world around them. During each class we will learn about a variety of topics through age appropriate stories, special activities and fun animal encounters.

Age:18-36 month olds
Time: 8:45 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
Cost: $8.25 members / $18.25 non-members per class.
(Program fee admits one adult and one toddler per class.)

Does your toddler have siblings? No worries…

  • Siblings up to 6 years of age are allowed in Thursday’s class for an extra fee of $2.25. We will have appropriate activities planned for these siblings.
  • Siblings within the program’s age range of 18-36 months can participate in the program for the normal program fee ($8.25 members/ $18.25 non-members).
  • Infants are permitted to accompany parent and toddler for either day at no cost.

This class we're taking a look at the famous animals that have made appearances in some of our favorite story books. You and your toddler will have a blast comparing the story book animals to some of our animals here at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Moms bring your toddlers to this exciting class where we will discover what it would be like to be an animal mom.  You and your toddler will have a blast as we explore the world of animal babies!

In this stroller safari we will slither and slide our way around the zoo as we learn about snakes and the unique ways they move.

Fly on over to the zoo with your toddler and explore the amazing world of birds with us.  We will learn how to sing like a bird and visit some of our feathered friends that live right here at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

 “Rollin’ with the Rhinos”

Bring your toddler to the zoo to learn about one of our newest additions to the zoo, Jumbe, our Black Rhino. You and your toddler will have a blast “rollin’” with our rhino.
