Keeper Shadows
Shadow A Real-Life Animal Keeper.
(*Ages 12+)
Want to be an animal keeper for a day? Here’s your opportunity to experience caring for animals at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Help clean and interact with the animals through one-on-one experiences with a keeper for two or four hours, and discover an accurate picture of daily activities.
Our animal keepers have a physically demanding job. At the following link is just a portion of their job duties for our Keeper Shadows to read and prepare for conditions they might also experience. Read Physical Keeper Duties PDF
