ZOOMobile In-School Classroom Program
Age-appropriate discussion and up-close animal interactions for grades 1-12.
Choose from the following presentation options:
- “Habitat Hike” — Without leaving our classroom, we’ll travel to locations near and far as we explore various habitats animals call home. Students will identify what each animal needs from their habitat, as well as learn about the important roles of the animals in their habitats.
- “Wildlife Wonders” — Animals have amazing adaptations! You’ll get an up close look at special characteristics and abilities that allow them to survive and thrive. Your presenter will focus on highlighting structural and behavioral adaptations of our animal ambassadors.
- “ZOOM-in” — Students will be introduced to the diversity of the animal kingdom as we “zoom in” on different animal classes. Learn what make each class of animals unique as you interact and observe live animals like amphibians, mammals, reptiles, and more.
- “Workin’ on the Wildside” — Students will be introduced to the diversity of careers available at animal care facilities. Learn how skills and interests they might already have can lead them to a successful and fulfilling career in the animal care field. (This program is best suited for 6th-12th graders and is FREE while funding allows.)
